Chapter 5 of I'll Hold You In Heaven is titled "In Heaven As A Person".
Now there are heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies, and the glory of each is different from the other. 1 Corinthians 15:40
The author shares with us the story of David committing adultery and then murder. I recommend reading this to help clarify the story. I found it quite interesting!
1) How does it make you feel to hear David's words "I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me"?
2) Do you have hope in being reunited with your child(ren) one day?
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
16 your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
Psalm 139:15-16
We are told in the book of when Moses and Elijah were with Jesus the disciples recognized them as who they were but yet had never met them or knew what they looked like.
3) Do you believe you'll be able to recognize your child(ren) in Heaven?
4) What do you imagine meeting your child(ren) will be like?
Heading in the right direction!

I do think I'll get to see my baby again. That is part of what gets me through the day. I feel like I know where he is, safe and taken care of, and I have to live my life in a way that I'll be able to join him.
((hugs))

1) How does it make you feel to hear David's words "I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me"? He missed his son so much but he knows he’ll see his son again in Heaven. It makes me feel hopeful.
2) Do you have hope in being reunited with your child(ren) one day? Yes
3) Do you believe you'll be able to recognize your child(ren) in Heaven? I do now. I loved reading that part about Moses and Elijah and very glad the author pointed it out.
4) What do you imagine meeting your child(ren) will be like? Curiosity on her part; crying with joy on mine.

1) How does it make you feel to hear David's words "I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me"?
It gives me hope! It shows proof that our babies do indeed go to Heaven
2) Do you have hope in being reunited with your child(ren) one day?
Absolutely! I really look forward to that day!
3) Do you believe you'll be able to recognize your child(ren) in Heaven?
I think so because of the example the author gave with Moses and Elijah. I believe I will know who my children are the instant I see them.
4) What do you imagine meeting your child(ren) will be like?
Glorious! I know the first thing I want to do is embrace them! It'll be a joyous time for me and I hope my children too.
It gives me so much hope & I know one day I will see the 2 children I lost. I look so forward to that wonderful day. I also think I will know who my children are & am so excited to see them. I feel it will be something like seeing them for the first time almost like when you give birth. That totally awesome feeling that the little someone is part of you. I would have to say that I can't wait to give them Hugs & Kisses & just to tell them how much I missed them but always thought of them just like they were here. Holly I would like to thank -you so much for doing this book. It has helped me alot cause even though I'm a christian there has always been alot of questions I had unanswered. Take care & HUGS !!! Yes.
3) Do you believe you'll be able to recognize your child(ren) in Heaven?
I do belive I will be able to recognize my children.
4) What do you imagine meeting your child(ren) will be like?
Wonderful, rejoicing, and joyous reunion.
1) It is such reassurance that our babies do go to Heaven. It really is a hope-filled statement.
2) Yes-I so look forward to the day when I see Haven again!
3) I also liked the example of Moses and Elijah. I have always thought I would recognize Haven and he would recognize me.
4) I think it will be the purest of joys, untainted by anything. Having Haven was so wonderful, but it was darkened by the loss. In Heaven it will be completely joyful and not marred by anything!
Holly,
I am not part of this reading group and just found your blog today, but I have read this book and LOVE it. Thank goodness for the hope we have in Jesus...
