It's still NOT up!!

The forecast for the next few days is rain (of course that could always change) so I thought I would stop by the cemetery after I picked up Kyndra to check and see if her marker was up yet. It was nice at the moment so I figured it would be a good time. I had hopes it would be there, but yet again, I was disappointed.

The foundation is set and ready to go. They filled in some more dirt on her grave where it had sunken in a little bit. Yet, her marker is still not there! Why is it taking so long!? It's been 8 1/2 weeks since she's been gone and it was only supposed to be 4-6 weeks. I think I've been pretty patient about it but now I'm starting to get a little irritated.

I guess I'll check again later in the week.

I can imagine what a disappointment that would be each time, and it is not there! Can you call someone and ask what is taking so long?!?!? Hopefully it is up soon----can't wait to see it!

I'm sorry that it is still not up. Maybe it is almost ready as the only put the foundation down last week and then we had a long holiday weekend. Maybe the plan is to have it up by the end of this week? I hope so. I also can't wait to see the pictures of it once it is up.

Hey Holly, sorry the stone has not been set yet, I know you are ready for it.

Also I used to work at a funeral home with a cemetery and we set headstones and the general rule for us was the ground had to totally dry before we could set a headstone. If the ground was wet we ran the risk on tearing the cemetery up with our truck. Those stones are so heavy they have to be brought with a truck with a crane type thing on it to lift the stone and set it on the foundation.

Anyways I hope the rain will quit soon so it can go up!! ((hugs))

"Good things come to those who wait". Who said that???? I know it is sooo hard to wait.... I have a hard time waiting for things too.

But sweet Holly,... it will come,... and I hope it will be all that you wanted it to be, to mark the memory of your sweet Carleigh.

Prayers!

I hope you do not have to wait much longer. Maybe give a call or ask someone to call for you. ((hugs))
