Today it is 3 weeks since we said hello and goodbye to our little Carleigh. It's so hard to believe that it has been that long already even though we are still so fresh in our loss. I still miss her very much but this weekend has been much better for me emotionally than last weekend. Today was the Walk for Life put together by the Clinton County Women's Center, which I have close ties to. I would've liked to walk in it for Carleigh but I procrastinated and never got around to getting the stuff for it. Then when I remembered this morning that the walk was today it was already after 10 am. There's always next year! I'll have to stop by next week and drop off a few donations and visit with the ladies there.
I worked on Carleigh's scrapbook today and got a few pages done during Kyndra's nap. It's coming along but there's still quite a bit to do yet. I am hoping to finish it before I go back to work.
Heading in the right direction!

Holly, procrastinate... LOL! You are so organized tho. But indeed do understand the crazyness I am sure you have had! I to can't believe it's been 3 weeks. It seems like days only. Carleigh is still in my thoughts often, and I have a meeting with Angels grandma, and I am sure Carleigh will come up. I know I will have the knowlegde and words to talk with her.
Procrastinate! With all you have going on? Not hardly! I'm so glad this weekend has been easier! I'm sure you'll have many ups and downs along the way. We are still praying for you! Keep the ups coming!
I would love to see some photos of Carleigh's scrapbook when you finish. (only if you want to share)
Love & Hugs to you during this time and always.
I am envious! I so want to do a scrapbook for Noah but really have no idea on how to accomplish it or where to start. I love the way scrapbooks look but I have no creative skill of my own and need lots of direction in that area. I used to participate in Stampin Up clubs and loved it so very much....But I was given the stuff to get those crafts accomplished and a sample with which to mimic. I would love to see pictures of any completed pages of Carleigh's scrapbook when you get the chance. And hey...any suggestions on how to proceed would be appreciated as well (LOL)!
On a serious note, I too find it hard to believe that 3 weeks have passed since Carleigh's birth. I am glad to hear that it was easier for you this weekend than last. I am sure that you will have times that will seem easier and times that will seem more difficult. I am still amazed at your strength and faith through all of this. It is inspiring....
Love you girl!
