There are a few things that still need to be decided upon. One thing we have down now is what memorial card we would like. We are just going to go with the one the funeral can provide. There were several that A Place to Remember had but they were only "1 UP" and the Brian, the funeral director, said they would need "2 UP" to print them. We still need to decide the exact design of Carleigh's marker and if we want any sayings on it. We have a couple designs narrowed down but want to discuss the ones we like with Brian to see what would be available to get. We need to decide if we want to have any verses, poems, sayings in the memorial card or if any are going to be read at the service. Then I guess we'd have to decide who would read it. I know it won't be us that's for sure! We also need to decide what and if any songs are going to be played or sung at the service. I am leaning more towards playing a song. I imagine it would be hard for anyone to hold it together long enough to sing a song so I believe it will be easy to just play one and maybe have the words to the song on the projector screen.
I am currently deciding on a memory box. I really would like a nice, wooden one to put all of Carleigh's keepsakes in. I emailed a gentlemen in our area who has a shop on Etsy. He makes a lot of wooden drawers and such and seems like he does good work. Anyway, he's never done a custom piece before but he seems very willing to do it. So right now we are just emailing ideas and what he'd be able to do. Nothing is set in stone.

Thanks! I'm not sure how I got those reactions up. A lot of what I do is on accident. Try messing around with Account Settings...
Having the words on a projector is a good idea, btw.
Thank you for sharing your heart and Carleigh's story...and the beautiful pictures! I am praying for you.
Holly- Bless you dear heart. You are so sweet and such a beautiful loving mother. God delights in you!

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Ephesians 4:29
