My Pit is up to 27 mL/hr and at the moment I'm still not feeling pain with contractions. It's more "uncomfortable" than anything else when I get one. I finally finished reading the last book of the Twilight series-Breaking Dawn. (Good books by the way.) I had Monica put me on the heart monitor for Carleigh for a little bit and everything was sounding good. Dr. F stopped by and checked on me. She checked my lungs and also Carleigh's position via ultrasound. Carleigh is head down and in a good position. No cervix check yet. Dr. F thinks that the contractions aren't hard enough to really be doing much yet. So they'll just keep pumping up the Pit.

I really hate Pitocin.
I was induced with my first and it went about the same. They even ended up turning it off after a full day of being on Pitocin with nothing happening, and trying again the next day. I remember the painful contractions coming on very suddenly after they cranked it up the last time. Good luck!
My SD has been up my butt to read the Twilight series LOL!! I think once I am done with my English course, and I don't HAVE to read, reading might go back to being pleasurable again :-D
Glad you are progressing well. I am thinking of you a lot today.
You can do it, mama!!
Hugs, Laura (emslala)

Holly, this is the first chance I've had to check in today, but you have been in my thoughts. I am glad that everything is going well (except you being hungry ;). I will pray that everything continues to go well for you. Dawn (bakersd79 from CM - I can't remember my login!)

I am a fellow "cafemom"er. Just wanted to let you know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
I have been thinking about you all day. Thanks for the update. Still sending some prayers your way. And some good vibes for dilation. Sounds like you enjoyed the Twilight serious. I just might have to check it out.
How long will they let you go before the do a c-section? I remember you were thinking about one here while back.....

Oh, my. I hate pitocin. I really do. I wish things would move faster for you, but maybe it's better for Carleigh if it goes slower. IDK. I'm sure you are getting hungry and tired though! I'm glad you liked the Twilight books! I've been thinking about reading them again. Landon sends his love and prayers as well...he just got home from school and I updated.
Holy crap you went through those books fast. I hear laughter helps with labor. And I wasn't exaggerating either. All my friends read your blog! I think you have way more people than you realize following you today, haha! Besides, I've never seen anyone else have 70+ followers. Geez!
You don't know me, but I have to say that I am praying for you. You seem like a very sweet lady. You are so strong. I look up to you more than you will ever know.
