Congrats to Cecilia who has won the $20 gift card to Hobby Lobby! Thank you everyone for sharing what you have done with your photos and keepsakes. Cecilia, please email me at caring4carleigh@yahoo.com to confirm and I will get that sent out to you!!

During this month of Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness, do you know what I am thankful for? The community of moms that support each other through the good times and the bad times. When I arrived home from visiting Carleigh at the cemetery, I noticed a monarch butterfly dancing around my butterfly bush. It went neatly from flower to flower and I was able to get a picture of it spreading its wings. Then it floated down to me and went past and off into the sky. It reminded me of all you special moms out there.

I found a little quote just flipping through a magazine the other day that struck me and reminded me of this community.

We laugh, cry, talk, listen, and understand each other. We share the same memories...there is no family like ours.

This isn't necessarily a giveaway per se but just something I'd like to do for someone in remembrance of their baby this month. If you scroll down to the bottom of Carleigh's blog you will notice a video. I would like to put one of these together for one of you. If you are interested, just leave a comment and let me know. This is open until Tuesday at 8 pm EST and then I will randomly select a person. I would like to be able to get the video created for the person selected so that they have it by October 15th, which is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day.

Have a blessed evening!

That is a beautiful idea, holly. I think personalizing a video compliation for someone is the greatest of give aways :)

The ornament is precious and I can see Carleigh's photo hanging in it on your christmas three this year.

In response to your "pager" comment regarding your parent's church. I think I like the anonomous number theory better. If my pager went off noticeable at that moment when my pastor's daughter was speaking... that would have been worse :)

Congratulations to Cecilia.

Great shot of the butterfly. You don't have to look to far to see signs from Heaven. God Bless.

What a great picture of that butterfly. So pretty. I love the quote that you posted. It fits so well. There is no family like ours. I am so grateful for you and all the other moms who help me so much.
I actually went through today and listened to all of your songs on your playlist. There are some I have not heard before and I just love them all. I esp. love Jeremy Camp.
I love the video you put together of Carleigh! Was it difficult to do? It is so beautiful!

At work so I cant watch the video :(

That looks like the same butterfly that hangs out around my house! I have a garden in the back yard and I am pretty much the only one who ever messes around back there and every couple of weeks this beautiful orange butterfly will hang out with me....I love it, so beautiful and makes me think of Logan visiting mommy for a bit.

I am posting this in memory of my oldest child, Christopher Michael Sanders, who died in April, 1975. Not a days goes by that I do not think of him. After his tragic death, we lost 5 other children,, one lived 20 minutes, one lived one hour, and three were stillborn. I am so thankful for our daughter, Allison, who turns 29 today. Goodbye my sweet babies, I hold you close to my heart.

Blessings,

Hi, Today I am remembering my two angels who I lost at 12 weeks and 8 weeks. Since then, I have been blessed with a son who is almost 2 and am currently 13 weeks pregnant. I thank God every day for my wonderful son and pray for a continued healthy pregnancy and delivery. God Bless, Becky H., Hamilton, OH
