This post is for the Read With Us group. For those of you who are joining in on reading Lynnette's book In Faithfulness, He Afflicted Me I would just like to know if you have gotten your books yet. I was supposed to get mine Friday but of course the post office was closed. I'm expecting to get it tomorrow. So depending on who has theirs yet and who doesn't will determine when we start reading. If most everybody has theirs then we will go ahead and start reading tomorrow.
This is how it will work. Each chapter we will spend a week on that way you can take your time reading it. We all know how spare time can be hard to come by. (If you think we should shorten the time just let me know please!) Either on Monday or Tuesday I will post some questions or thoughts for discussion. On your own blog you then write your answers and/or your own thoughts. Don't forget to put the Read With Us button on too! Then you will link your blog back to mine via a linky system. That way everyone can go to your blog and see what you think of the book and what you are getting out of it. Sounds easy enough, right?
Just leave a comment and let me know about your books! Can't wait to starting reading with you all!

I have mine too and already read it. I thought I would read a couple of pages and ended up never being able to put it down. I will go back and reread each chapter as we do the reading.
PS. I will tell you this.....YOU WILL ALL be glad you read it, it's a beautiful book!
Sounds great but I do not have mine either. I ordered mine through Lynnette herself (wanted a signed copy :) ) and she accidently missed my paypal payment so she mailed it out just last week. I assume I would receive it this week sometime.
I think the week for a chapter is a good idea. Especially if you start now and some of us don't have them yet :)
unfortantly I will have to sit this round out :( finaces werent there this month but I do have most of the other books. So cant wait to join in on those :)

I have mine!! I sat down to read a little bit about it to learn more about Lynnette (I joined her blog recently too) and before I knew it, I was halfway through the book!! SUCH a good book .. I had to put it in a drawer so I wouldn't finish reading it.
