This week on the MckLinky blog hop we are sharing '3 things you didn't about know me', but for Carleigh's blog I'd like to share 3 things you may not know about her.
1) She had such little ears but they were different from each other. They didn't match at all. It was like they belonged to two different people yet they were uniquely hers.
2) Her pinky fingers were a little crooked. It is a trait in Anthony's family that his brother and him share. They've passed it down to their children and Carleigh was no exception!
3) She had more hair on her head than Kyndra had when she was born. Really! She had quite a bit of hair and it had a blondish tint to it. So I think she would've had blonde hair like her sister.

I love the little quirks...the little unique things that make our kids who they are. Thanks for sharing these sweet things about Carleigh...the things a mother would know. My Thomas' pinky toe grew sideways on his left foot. It makes me smile everytime I think of it. They said there could be so many deformities to his limbs if we continued the pregnancy w/o fluid. And that was the only one...a sideways pinky toe! I think it was like his little private joke. If you look closely at his footprints on my blog, you can see it. That's my sweet boy!
Love to you...
Very heart warming idea to share Carleigh with us. I can imagine you weren't able to take your eyes off of her - soaking in every single detail of her.
Jackson also had two different ears! I bet her crocked pinky made Anthony smile :)
Awe.... sweet Carleigh. She will always live in our hearts!
So cute, especially her ears. That makes her who she is. Hoppin in to say hello!
Many Blessings,
Deanna

Hi, I'm stopping in from BlogFrog. Thanks for sharing Carleigh's story!
Thank you for sharing these precious memories.
Crooked Pinkies!!!!!!!!!!!! FUNNY!!!!!! Evan and his Uncle Jesse share that SAME TRAIT!!!!!!! How special are those "little unique" things??!!!
I remember reading another post where you mentioned her hair......You got a lock of it, right??? You should post a picture of it.......
When I was born I had a full head of......RED HAIR.......So funny, because it fell out a couple of months later......I was bleach blond until I was 12.....Then my hair was dark brown.....Strange.....
Avery was born with a FULL HEAD BLACK BLACK hair and now it is like a light brown.....with a touch of red when he's in the sun.......Our Evan was born with blond peach fuzz and he has dirty blond hair now
Thanks for sharing Carliegh with us. I know those little quirks were beautiful!

Those little quirks are what keep her real, for you and all of us. Thank you for sharing. I hope you got a lock of that beautiful hair for your memory box.
