Passionate Blogger Award

I've been awarded with the Passionate Blogger Award from Bethany. (Thanks!) Her blog is HappyascanB. I must say, I have become quite the blog addict since beginning back in January. Blogging was really therapeutic for me in my journey with Carleigh and it still is, but I also like to think that my blogging helps others in some way or another. So I shall continue to blog my little heart away!

With this award I get to share with you 5 things that I am passionate about, besides blogging of course. Then I get to give this award out to 5 fellow bloggers that I enjoy. So here I go!

1) I am passionate about spreading God's love and showing people just how amazing He is. He's done so much for me and I love to share with others how He has worked a great purpose in my life. God is very good!

2) I am passionate about helping others and showing them someone cares. No need is too big or too small. I like to know that I am making a small difference in the life of someone else. It makes me feel good and I know that God is pleased when we help those in need. And what greater joy is there than pleasing the Father?

3) I am passionate with helping my local women's center. They helped me through a darker time in my life when I was feeling especially low. They welcomed me with open arms and helped me find healing. I am merely returning the favor and trying to help them help others too. They are really like family to me.

4) This may seem weird but I have a passion for all things sour! I mean sour. Just thinking of eating something sour makes my mouth water. For real. A lot of things that are sour to most people are a walk in the park for me. I'll eat a whole back of warheads without blinking. My tongue is no doubt pretty raw by the end of the bag but it tastes so good.

5) I am passionate about those close to me. My friends and my family mean a lot to me and that includes my online friends. There's not much I wouldn't do for them. They mean the world to me and I love them!

Now here are some friends whose blogs mean a lot to me that I would like to pass this award on to:

Kelly at The Beauty of Sufficient Grace

Celia at Beauty from Pain

PJ at Baby Seth's Story

Nicole at Logan Quinn

Misty at A Road Less Traveled

What a cool award....and a lot of the things you are passionate about I too have a passion for. Though instead of the sour stuff I prefer hot, hot, hot stuff! And there isn't much out there that I can't handle!

Congrats again for being awarded the Passionate Blogger Award! And thanks for giving a shout out to my blog too! I too share that passion that my blog will somehow touch someone or give someone hope. And being able to share the good news of Christ is just a huge bonus!

Congratulations, Holly! You have a beautiful way of writing about your experiences and I'm glad that you feel led to share them with others. It has been so wonderful to find other Mama's of babies who have been affected by anencephaly. I don't feel as alone as I once did because I have found all these wonderful stories of other families on the same road we have walked!
love,
Andi
