There were quite a few people that were amazed that I somehow managed to blog during labor. Honestly, it was a breeze until my doctor broke my water. I still managed to post some updates after she did. How? I did a lot of deep breathing. :)
Posting updates on my blog was the easiest way to keep all of my family, friends, and followers informed of what was going on. After sticking with me through the whole journey, I figured it was the least I could do for so many of you!
Thank you to the many who stayed up late in the evening and even into the morning with us. I was awed to hear so many did and I thank you for your prayers for us during that time. I'm sure there might have been a little nervousness during that 4 hour stretch when you didn't hear anything from me and then finally I posted that Carleigh was here. I posted a little over 2 hours after she was born.
I had planned to make a post right before she came to let everyone know but it all happened so quickly. I started to feel some pressure down there so they got my doctor to check me and lo and behold I was at 10 cm and ready to go! Everyone was moving around quickly and getting things ready. I remember thinking, "oh my gosh, am I ready for this?" Well, it didn't matter whether I was ready or not because she was coming anyway!
So, here are some pics of me blogging my little heart away!

How precious! I love it.
Amazed you did it, but very thankful! It was like watching TV, LoL! I kept waiting for the next installment.
I had just heard of your story the week that Carliehg was born, but I remember staying up a lot that weekend, praying and crying a lot... I Know that we dont know each other well but your jounrye has really touched me, and I am encouraged with the fact that we are sisters in Christ, and that Carleigh is with Jesus in Heaven.
You are just too cute! I remember that day vividly and how anxious I felt for you. I remember that I checked your blog quite a bit before I went to bed and then it was the first thing I did when I got up. I don't remember sleeping well either. And I was so very amazed that you blogged during that time!
Now in retrospect I can see how it was something you felt a need to do. I felt that way also but it was my husband who updated things for me.
AW, you and your precious popsicle. You're so funny.
I agree with Nicole. I didnt really know too much until a couple of weeks before she was born. I remember staying up until like 3 in the morning to hear the news. I was even txting Heather, b/c she went on to bed and told me to txt her with everyupdate.
The popsicle photo made me laugh! You were in such awe of that thing!! You did so well through your labor even after they broke your water. Everyone thought you did well!
