Giveaway #5

Personalized Child Loss Keepsakes and Remembrance Jewelry

Giveaway #5 is by Sue from My Forever Child. Thank you Sue for your kindness and generosity. I feel very blessed that God has crossed our paths. You can click here to read more about My Forever Child and Sue. Here is an excerpt from that page:

The My Forever Child™ Collection was born out of a desire to create unique keepsakes for those touched by the loss of a child. No matter what age the child died at, it is very important for the grieving parent to have their child remembered and acknowledged. Even though the child is not with them physically, the parental feelings of love do not disappear. Parenthood is not measured by the length of time spent raising a child. The child is always in the parent's heart, hence the phrase "My Forever Child™".

Our jewelry and keepsakes are not only for the parents of a lost child, but for anyone who wishes to have a handmade and personalized memorial item. Often times we do not express our feelings to others, so we keep our sadness and grief inside. Our pieces can help you express, without words, on the outside what you feel on the inside. Jewelry is one of the most treasured and personal material possessions we can own. Wearing or displaying an item from the My Forever Child™ collection is a beautiful way to acknowledge, remember, and honor someone who has touched your life, and gone too soon.

This giveaway is for 3 $25 gift certificates to My Forever Child, so there will be 3 winners! My Forever Child is one of my favorite sites. They have a wonderful selection of jewelry and keepsakes and Sue can even create a custom piece just for you if you have something special in mind. I have several pieces that Sue has created for me and I treasure each one.

To enter this giveaway, leave a comment telling me what you would get if you won a gift certificate from My Forever Child.

If you haven't read this post already, please do so that you know how I am running these giveaways.

I have read your blog for quiet awhile now and became a follower when I realize what an inspiration you are. If I were to win this certificate, I would put it towards a beautiful necklace made in honor of Aiden Harley, a very inspirational angel who has changed me forever. Jacie would just love one of these to remember her angel, she's been through so much, she deserves it.

I am lucky enough to already have a necklace from My Forever Child which I LOVE. However, I really want a piece with Nate's name on it. So I would probably get the square necklace like Carleighs with his name and birthdate.

Hugs,
Trisha

I would get the open heart pendant with a birthstone for each of my kids. I also really like the earrings that are white with pink rose buds because pink roses are Janie Beth's flower, at least at our house. :) I love the stuff they sell. I have had them bookmarked for quite some time.

Holly,

She makes so many beautiful things! I have to say my favorite thing on her site is he prayer box charm. I think it is so beautiful to be able to speak with God and wear these thoughts on your heart, both inside and out.

What you are doing for sweet Carleigh is absolutely beautiful and I know she is proud of her Mommy. May God continue to bless you and use you to bless others.

Lots of love,
Katy xxx

I would love to get a charm with Lilly's feet on it. We just loved her feet. I have a matching bracelet set that one of my coworkers had given us. Lilly's is on her right arm and mine is on my right arm. We both had matching dangling hearts. Unfortunately my heart fell off and has not been located as of yet. If I had to replace it I would love to do it with a charm that has her feet prints on it. If the charm would not work with my bracelet I would love to really give it to my husband who LOVED her feet more than any of us. He really did. Definitely something with her feet prints on it. Thank you for your time and consideration.

First, thank you to Sue for being so sweet and thoughtful in doing this. And, thank you HOLLY for being who you are...wonderful you :)

If I were to win this "blessing" I would consider it to be the gift that keeps on giving. I would use the certificate to bless a dear friend who lost her son. Initialy, we think of ourselves, but why not honor the child(ren) we lost by honoring another. Pass on the blessing.

Hope that you are well...many hugs as you are the bestest :)

What I would do would probably have a necklace made for both of my SIL's who both have lost a baby. I would have the baby's name and the day they lost the baby (miscarriages) as their birthday. I would have little hands on the opposite side. Depending on what was left, I would make another one for a family in TX. Layla Grace Marsh's family. I would do one for her mother. Layla passed away Mar. 9th from neroblastoma.

You are an amazing woman Holly. hang in there!

i think i would chose #459.... it is small enough that i could then order one for each of my babies that have gone home without the necklace getting too heavy to wear all of them charms at the same time.

On 16th of February this year we lost our baby boy (39 w 2d) during labour. Although grief and anger is still very raw for me, I have been in search for a special gift for my husband. Through his own grief of loosing a son he has stood strong and protected me while I healed. Three weeks after that fatefull day I hemmoraged and almost died through infection from pieces of placenta left behind. He never left my side for the entire 2 weeks I was in hospital.

I spotted the cufflinks with the hand and foot prints, and I just know this would mean the world to him as he can have Matthew Devon with him always.

I need to give something back to him as he has given me so much.

I also have to say thank you for these wonderful giveaways in honor of your gorgeous angel Carleigh. You are a true inspiration.

I have looked at their site several times since losing my little boy. I have definitely wanted the engraved footprints which is one the few reminders that I have of how small and perfect he truly was.
