Giveaway #4

Giveaway #4 is provided by Sarah at Say It With Flowers. Thank you so much Sarah and Richard for the wonderful work that you do in creating these beautiful photos of names written on flowers. They are breathtaking and such a wonderful way to honor those who have gone on before us.

Here are some beautiful examples that they have created for my babies:

I have 2 opportunities for someone to have a loved one's name written on a flower, so there will be 2 winners for this giveaway!

To enter, please leave a comment telling me how you honor either your baby/babies or another loved one you have lost.

If you haven't read this post already, please do so that you know how I am running these giveaways.

I try to honor my children's memories by making them a part of every day things. I honor my children by being a strong mommy, and by trying to reach out to other mommies on this journey so they know they aren't alone.

We honor Eliana with a little display of her momentos on our entertainment center, a special engraved bracelet I wear, and lots of other little things. It was a blessing this Christmas to honor other babies in heaven by making some personalized Christmas ornaments.

I honor my sweet baby girl Gracie Jane in many ways, by keeping life in perspective because it is precious, no one knows there last day, what's eternal is more important. We send off balloons when we need to remember that everyday is a gift. And we eat blueberries in honor of her nickname. I also take name pictures in various ways to honor all the many babies who have passed on.

We talk about Freja alot... When asked how many children we have, we include her. Even though she isn't physically with us, she is still in our thoughts as much as our two living children are.
I have a shelf with pictures and keepsakes in our living room. The kids are constantly making crafts and drawing pictures for their sister, and I display them on the shelf. I also have a basket in my bedroom with Freja's stuffed giraffe and an identical blanket to the one she was buried with, and when I need to feel close to her, I hold onto these things.

I had requested this a while back and even got an email it was done, but I think it was around Ella's birthday..so I didn't do much at all around that time.. and I just haven't gotten around to requesting the pics again..

Anyway, In honor of Ella, we deliver balloons and toys to the childrens hospital on her special days..(bday and angelversary) and promote awareness and (planning) a fundraiser for this summer to raise money for mito research.

I honor Dylan through my blog, always talking about him, my necklace that I wear everyday with his name handstamped on it, his pictures up all over our house, in the kind of parents that we've become, in the way we live our lives, etc.

at this point, i am honoring my babies that have gone home by just being real with myself and feeling and dealing with all of the hard emotions and questions that come up.... by sharing my stories with any one who needs/wants to hear and by hanging on to the coat tails of My Father...... but i have a project in the works, something that i KNOW the Lord has laid on my heart. my prayer is that it will touch the hearts of the others moms in my boat and help them wade through the stormy sea that tries it's hardest to suck us under. it may take a year to get it done, but when i do.... i'll share it first with all of the sweet moms who are following my blog (i say that knowing that you follow me, holly! :D)

i have never had my babies names written anywhere..... i'm married to a photographer but have quit begging. one day i will grab the camera and do it myself but it won't be nearly as good as those pros out there! i would dearly love to be a winner on this one:)

Every year at Christmas we make cinnamon rolls that my great grandmother always made when she was alive - to honor her. And then we also make Greek Cookies in honor of my grandma who always made them at Christmastime!
Beautiful flowers.

Meredith has always been remembered with flowers at her grave. In the past few years I have given myself permission to buy her things and she has several shelves of angels and other things in my doll room.We have 3 other baby losses in our family and we try to uphold one another.I have been given so many beautiful items by members of this baby loss community and I cherish each item. I try to give back when I can by sending cards or little gifts or
donating to the MOD.

We honor Janie Beth in so many ways that it is hard to put them all in words. I think the way I like the most is by carrying her love with me! I also wear a necklace with her picture on it almost everyday.

I honor my three angel babies in several ways. First I made a bracelet with a birthstone for each of them. I also have matching earrings in the pink/blue infant loss awareness colors.
I also have a special memorial ring on my right hand. I love that I have these tangible reminders of the babies that are no longer with me, but live on in my heart.

You prolly already know this but I have a love for water fountains. So I find them relaxing. I have one in the dining room and one in the living room. One for each of my angels. It also has a candle light in the middle and I run them everyday. It is nice to hear the water and look at the calmness.
