Day 4 ~ Capture Your Grief ~ Most Treasured Item

Day 4 of Capture Your Grief has us sharing a picture of something that relates to your baby/babies that your treasure the most.

There are so many things attached to Carleigh that are precious to me. I keep all those things in her memory chest.
I would have to say though that it is the pictures we have of her that are are most precious to me. I can look back on the moments we had with her. I can see how she looked. I can see the emotions we felt. They are proof to the outside world that she was here and that we loved her.

I know that in time my memory of those moments will fade and I won’t remember how it was like I used to. These photos allow me to go back to that brief time with her. They also make me wish I could experience it again.

I keep these photos in a fire and water proof safe in hopes to keep them safe if anything would happen to our home.

For Jordan, my most treasured item is a copy of the plaque that we placed at the National Memorial for the Unborn in October 2008.

Hi Holly, just wanted to check in and say hi. Thanks for sharing your journey, as always. I appreciated your recent comment on my blog, even though I didn't acknowledge it until now. I actually blogged about you and Carleigh recently ( It's the post about hindsight.
