Day 12 of Capture Your Grief has us sharing a scent that reminds us of our babies.
If I had thought of it while I was carrying Carleigh I would have used a special lotion on her so that scent could always remind me of her, but I didn’t. There aren’t really any scents that really remind of her but if I would have to pick on I would say flowers. She had a lot of flowers at her visitation and service and they were very fragrant, especially the Daylilies. I remember bringing the Daylilies home and I set them by the computer desk. The smell of them permeated the whole living room. I think the scent of Daylilies will always remind me of that.

Those flowers are so beautiful...... for a beautiful little girl....
