Day 3 of Capture Your Grief has us sharing a picture of ourselves after the loss of our children.
This picture was taken on my first Mother’s Day after the loss of Carleigh, which was May 10, 2009. I am sitting at her grave. I remember having a heavy heart and wishing so badly she could be with us.
This is a recent picture of me after loss. It is a picture of me and my sister (who lost her daughter in May this year) and all of our girls on this earth. The smiles are real but I know in our hearts we ache for our daughters who are not here.
