Day 1 ~ Capture Your Grief ~ Sunrise

Day 1 of Capture Your Grief has us taking a picture of a sunrise.

I was not able to take a picture of the sunrise this morning as I go into work long before the sun comes up. I did, however, take a picture of the sunrise on Saturday morning, September 29th. The time was 7:06 am and the picture was taken in SW Ohio, USA. I took it off the back patio of our house.

It’s not often that I stop to admire the beauty of the sunrise and even the sunset. It truly is miraculous and beautiful. It is a reminder that another day has come and gone and I am still here. Still living (even happily!) and surviving loss, but still missing and longing. I am sure that the colors of Heaven are even more spectacular than anything we see here on earth, and my babies get to experience that every single day.
