A crater on the moon has been named after Carleigh. The crater is located in the Lacus Somniorum or "Lake of Dreams" and it was made effective on March 28, 2010-Carleigh's 1st Birthday. This is such a special gift to have something like this named after her and we very much appreciate it!

Getting this in the mail reminded me that I totally forgot to name a star after Carleigh for her birthday. Oops. I knew I would forget something. Oh well, there's every other day of the year to do it and I know we'll do it at some point.

What a neat gift - I have never heard of this before! What a unique gift for a sweet angel!
We did the naming a star thing for our friend when she lost her son. Then we got a necklace with the GPS coordinates on it, so she would always have it with her! I LOVE the moon thing too! How very special!
