A Heavy Heart

My heart has been extremely heavy. I learned yesterday that my friend's son, Jordan, was born still.

My heart has been aching for her and her family and has been weighed down with grief for them. This has all hit me so hard. It is very difficult to see a friend go through such a tragedy. You never want to see someone you love go through something like this.

I was in tears for several hours yesterday after I found out and today in church, I felt the weight greatly. I poured my heart out in prayer at the altar over this whole situation.

Please say a prayer for Scott and Kristi. We all know how rough this road can be and they need it right now.

Holly,

My heart aches right along side yours. There are no words, only prayer...and I will pray.

I know this is more than difficult and brings to light so many emotions.

Lifting you up and sending love,
xoxo

My heart goes out to you and your friends. All of us here know all to well how shitty this is - no one should ever have to experience this kind of loss. They will be in my thoughts as they begin this journey.

I have a real life friend who had a 40 week stillbirth 3 1/2 years ago - I know how difficult my experience was on her; how difficult it was for her to watch us begin the walk along the same agonizing road. Please remember to take care of yourself in the coming weeks. Will be thinking of you....

You truly know her pain and I know your gut hurts. I am so sorry. I will pray for them. Hugs to you.

I heard someone say once or read a quote somewhere that said that stillbirth is so uncommon that you should only know one person who is affected.
I think that's totally, totally wrong.
I'm so, so sorry for your friend and I will be praying.
I just hate this.

I know it is so hard to watch another person walk through this pain....but even more when it's someone you know, love, and care about. It just tears your heart out.

My heart is heavy with you...and for a couple friends of my own tonight...

Continued prayers...

Holly,

I was on your blog today at work...just reading around, and saw this...it brought me back to tears again - I think of Jordan everyday and just how beautiful he was (I never did get a chance to meet him, but he kicked me a few times through Krissi's belly).

You know, Lane still talks about him, misses him so much - and I find myself crying out of the middle of nowhere, still 4 months later...and I'm happy she had someone like you in her life to help her through this!

I wanted to say thank you everyone for all the prayers for my sister and brother-in-law, and I'm very sorry about all of your loses - I will pray for all of you as well.

Thanks again!
