Pray for Baby Shana

Calling all you prayer warriors out there! I need your help in lifting a family up in prayer.

Erin and her husband, Brad, found out earlier this year that their baby girl, Shana Rae, has anencephaly. Erin is set to deliver her on June 3rd at 37 weeks by C-section. Erin and Brad also have 2 other daughters, Abby and Reese.

Please keep this family in your prayers as the time approaches to meet this precious little girl. I am praying that they gets lots of time with Shana (which is something all of us anen mommies hope for).

Lord, I pray that You be near to this family as the time quickly approaches for them to meet the little girl that they have been waiting for. Be with Brad and Erin on delivery day and watch over them and give them strength and comfort both on that day and the days ahead. I pray that you give compassion and understanding to those who will be taking care of them. Be with Abby and Reese as they meet their little sister and try to understand all of what is happening. I ask that you touch Shana Rae and heal her little body, whether it be on this earth or in Heaven. I plead with You to give this family the time they truly deserve with Shana. We don't always understand the whys of things, Lord, but I can surely testify that You can bring good out of any situation no matter what it may be. And I know that there is so much goodness in little Shana's life. Amen.

I will most certianly pray for Shana's mommy and daddy. I have just spent that last hour reading through all the families from your previous post... with tear soaked cheeks. So very thoughtful that you helped each of them remember their sweet babies on their birthday. YOu are such a great friend!
