In Rachel's words....
"Marvelous Mondays were created to help me start to look at the positives, rather than the negatives. I started them so I would take a moment each week to take a step back and see what I do have, rather than what I do not. I chose Mondays because who are we kidding...don't we all hate Mondays? We have all lost something or have something missing from our lives. It could be a loved one, a job, your home, your heart...
For me, it was my children, Jaxon, Colin and Courtney who were taken from me when they were way too small. It is also my lack of ability to conceive and carry another child in my womb. The constant pain in my heart is numbing and life altering. I am "trying" (trying being the key word) to be positive and look for "good" in life.
So, today on this Marvelous Monday, won't you join me? What is one thing that you are thankful for? It can be simple or complex, silly or serious, tangible or intangible...it can be anything! If you need some ideas you can check out my other Marvelous Monday posts here. Please join me spread some positiveness by posting and linking (via MckLinky) your "Marvelous Monday" on your blog to mine! To participate, just grab the code for Marvelous Mondays above and add it to your Marvelous Monday post. Then click on the "Click here to enter your link in this Blog Hop" at the bottom of my this Marvelous Monday post. First, you will type in what you want to show up on the MckLinky. For example, I would type in "Three Butterflies and a Monkey. Then in the second box you will type in the web address of your Marvelous Monday post. It is really easy. Now...let's (try to) be positive"
This is actually my first time participating in Marvelous Mondays. Each time it comes around I say I'm gonna do it but I always forget. So I guess I'm giving myself a pat on the back for remembering this time!!
Today I am thankful for my camera, which gives me the ability to document the life of my family. I am thankful I can capture the big and the small moments all with the click of a button. I am glad that I have these moments frozen in time to always look back on-to laugh, to cry, to cherish.
Sometimes it's just nice to sit and look through pictures that have been taken. It's definitely better to take more than not enough, and with my new camera I'm definitely taking more than ever!

I LOVE my camera. I bought my first DSL last summer and it is just so, so fabulous!!! I love looking through them, too, and I only print a couple here and there cause I do a little scrapbooking (nothing over the top, but events here and there).
I keep thinking the same thing....next Monday, I'm doing it!
I love our new camera too, just wish I knew how to use it more! That's a project for this summer!
I agree about looking through pictures! Especially when you have such a cute little model at home! (Still loving her on the slide!)
It's a great way to start the week on the right foot!
xo
I keep thinking that I need to get a nicer camera for this very reason! Ours gets a workout, just because I love having that history of our family to look back on - I'm so glad it brings you the same joy. HUGS.
I love taking pictures. I just have to remember my camera when I leave the house....lol. Hope you have a wonderful week.
xoxo
Wow ~ what a wonderful idea...finding the bliss in the mundane Mondays! I love it. Okay, I hate to say it, but I too just bought a Cannon Xsi and am really loving the creativity that photography (even beginners like me) allows. So, happy for that and happy for spring little league. It is a hoot watching 8 year olds and their 'dads' try and play soft ball.
I love taking pictures and I love sitting and looking at them too. Seeing the changes that sometimes happen so fast.
This is a good start for the week.

I just bought a new camera also... still trying to figure it all out. In time!
One thing I'm thankful for this week... AUTHENTICITY!
Cameras are awesome! I've seen Marvelous Mondays and keep missing the Monday. I'm having trouble keeping track of what day it is, they all run together as busy as its been lately. I also like you have been putting it off. So no more excuses, will try for next Monday :)
