Birthday Giveaway #1

My little girl's birthday is next Monday so I am holding a few giveaways this week in honor of her birthday.

Birthday giveaway #1 is for a sculpture from The Midnight Orange. Dana, the artist, makes wonderful pieces for grieving families. The sculpture I'm giving away is called Go Tell Mommy I'm Okay. The baby is sending a message of comfort to mommy through a butterfly.

To enter the giveaway just leave a comment telling how you think your baby/babies send you messages of comfort.

The giveaway will remain open until Saturday, March 26th.

What a beautiful thing you are doing for Carleigh's birthday, Holly! And that sculpture is gorgeous. One of the ways Addie tells me she is okay is coming to me in my dreams. I've blogged about these dreams many times...in them, she is the age she should be today. She laughs and smiles. She always seems happy to see me. She will stare at me with her huge blue eyes, almost like she is saying she is okay, that she is happy. The only bad thing about these dreams is that I never get to touch her. I really think this is her coming to me to let me know she is fine, not to worry about her. I love getting to see her...I just wish it were in the real world and not my dreams. Thank you again for doing such a wonderful giveaway.

Holly, this made me cry - both what you're doing, and how sweet that sculpture is. Honestly? That's one of the ways that Maddie speaks to me - through the kindness of others.

That's so beautiful! I know Carleigh is so proud of you, for doing so much goodness in her honor. You are so kindhearted!

Madelyn brings me comfort just through her existence, and in knowing she is waiting for me in heaven. :)

I love Dana's creations. I think Emma and Chase send me messages through the beauty of nature. Thinking of you as Carleigh's birthday approaches. xo

That is a very precious giveaway.
Thinking of you and your sweet Carleigh as her birthday gets closer.
I hear Emily's name almost everyday rather on television,or while I'm out and about.
I think it's a beautiful reminder to hear her name.

I love that sculpture! Freja has sent me some pretty significant "signs" in the past, but I am with Jill on this one - Finding beauty in nature has been the most constant comforting gift that Freja has given me (and so is her little brother, who I know was a specially chosen gift from her.) Thinking of you and Carleigh always!

Our Amelia sent us butterflies...and still does. We know she is safe in the arms of Jesus and although we don't need the butterflies to know that...it still touches us so.

Beautiful sculpture. My baby brought me comfort through others that stood by me through my troubled times.

I love this sculpture. Please don't enter me in the drawing because I have one already. I just wanted to tell you that I truly believe that Aiden sends me messages. My sculpture has a dragonfly instead of a butterfly and that is our symbol. Every time I'm down I swear that little boy of mine sends me something to bring my spirits up! Whether it's a dragonfly, a cool breeze, or him dancing with me in my dreams

I think it's amazing that you are doing these giveaways in honor of little Carleigh's birthday! Hugs to you mama!

this is beautiful, and what a special way to celebrate her birthday!

River gives me special messages, last weekend at his little brother's birthday party, we decided on a whim to let all of the balloons go and there was a green one that stuck in the tree until all the others were gone, then it just let go. That was my sweet River celebrating his brother's birthday with us.

thank you for a chance to win this beautiful gift!

What a beautiful giveaway! Love the reason. Its a great way to celebrate Carleigh's birthday. I know she's proud of her mama! Dragonflies and butterflies always make me think of Laken and bring a smile to my face. Also, when I find pennies on the ground I think of her. I think about the pennies from heaven poem "when an Angel misses you, They toss a penny down, Sometimes just to cheer you up, To make a smile out of your frown. So don't pass by that penny
When you're feeling blue;
It may be a Penny from Heaven
That an Angel's tossed to you."

Beautiful. I know that my children send me a message through the little things my living children do. One day I was having a terrible day and my son who is 3 came up to me and put his arms around me and told me it will be okay...and then ask where my boo boo was :O) There is also a sparkle in my rainbow babies' eyes. Sometimes when i miss or long for my babies, there they are. <3

This is beautiful ♥ I love that your hosting a giveaway for Carleigh's birthday!

This sculpture reminds me of my babies. My son, Aiden, in Heaven is holding our new little Butterfly. I love it. Aiden sends me his scent in the wind sometimes. It's comforting to know he's near me.

Great giveaway! I think this is such a great idea for Carleigh's birthday! I just love that adorable sculpture! I think my angel gives me messages of comfort constantly. I truly believe she is our guardian angel and that she watches over us daily. At times of difficulty I think she is there to cheer me on and give me strength.

What a beautiful thing to do in Carleigh's sweet memory! The sculpture is perfect! Dragonflies always make me smile and remember Shyla and seeing little hearts in random places make me think of Jakin. Big Hugs to you as you prepare for next Monday!

How precious Holly...I love Dana's sculptures, I enjoy the one I have each and every day. I see Sebastion's messages in the clouds, when I look at the moon, and all things nature really. It's wonderful what you are doing... Carleigh has an amazing mommy:)

This is a really difficult question for me to answer because I don't think I've felt Dylan's physical presence since I actually held him in my arms, but I know he's there. I guess I'm most comforted every time I hear his name or know that someone else is remembering him with us.

This is so sweet. I love her sculptures. I don't have something tangible that feels like a message from my babies, but just a feeling. Sometimes it feels like heartbreak; other times quiet contentment, and everything in between. But when they are particularly strong, I take comfort in knowing I'll meet them one day.

Love it, Holly! I love that you are celebrating Carleigh in this way...

You must know that ladybugs are a comfort to us.... as well as the Angel Wings Boutique

That is so beautiful! I've seen many of her works and I absolutely love this one and since I imagine Mikayla's presence in my life through things like butterflies it is just perfect. THinking of you as Carleigh's day approaches.

So precious...
My angel Wyatt sends me signs and messages through other life (animals, his brother, butterflies, dragonflies, birds) as well as leaves us feathers in odd places.

I love The Midnight Orange!
Carli sends me "signs" in dreams. I love seeing her in my dreams. It's like our own secret meetings.

Oh, Holly! What a beautiful thing that you are doing for that sweet little girl's birthday! I know that Carleigh is brimming with joy over this!

My sweet little Poppy brings me comfort by sending me these special rainbows. They aren't your average arched rainbows, but these splashes of rainbow, in the strangest places, even when there has been no rain. She reminds me that she is always there, and that God is always there, in the moments when I need those reminders the most.

Beautiful! Ryan sends me messages of comfort in the sunrises!

Thank you so much for doing this in honor of Carleigh. I saw it on another mommy's blog and absolutley loved it so I am glad you are sponsoring it. Jeremiah sends me signs with frogs, rainbows, and by looking at the clouds. I feel like he sends me shapes to discipher.

wyatt gives/gave me piece with his 13 beautiful days on earth...it is more than i got with any of my other babies and it made it more real to the other people in my life. i am finally able to mourn and find peace in the loss of all my babies because of him.

Thank you for having a giveaway! I haven't really had any messages from Meredith - I just know she is safe in Heaven and I'm happy to know that. I have had a few dreams of her - but they are of the cemetery & I never can see her face. A friend did recently tell me that Meredith is happy and knows us - I don't know if she got that answer through prayer, or what. She is a strong prayer warrior.

I believe Jonathan speaks to me through his brother Joshua. I feel the two of them are very connected.

Holly, I love this! You are such an amazing Mama for all that you do. Cayden sends me messages through so many things....the sunrise, the snow, butterflies, the wind. It all reminds me that he is not always so far away.
Always thinking of you!

I hate doing this because I feel like an outsider but i want to win something for my sister. I'd love to give her something on Kyle's birthday this year. 13 just seems like such a milestone and with the March of Dimes walk on his birthday it seems so appropriate.
So I know that my sister believes any butterflies we see are kyle saying he's okay and he loves her.
Now when my daughter sees butterflies she says, "look mom, kyle came to say hi." I think this is so great that a 5 year old is carrying on his name.

When I was burying my second stillborn baby, and my only girl out of five boys (one of which was also stillborn seven months earlier) a tiny white butterfly was floating around my head during the graveside service and then rested on my only daughters tiny casket. Now almost 2 years later butterflies still remind me of my sweet Kathryne. This is a darling sculpture and a wonderful way to remember any angelbaby.
hugs to you!
