Meeting big sister

On Sunday after church Anthony and I took Lainey out to the cemetery to “meet” her big sister Carleigh. We didn’t stay long because it was a little windy but it was a nice visit.

Even though we have been blessed with another wonderful girl we still miss the little girl that never got to come home.

We love you, Carleigh. ♥

Holly, these are the sweetest pictures! They bring happy tears to my eyes, that you have a darling Rainbow baby to introduce to little Carleigh. God bless you as you and Anthony raise your little family.

j'ai les larmes qui sont montées quand j'ai vu la dernière photo car avec carleigh vous aviez fait une photo à la maternité ou vous la teniez de façon similaire, j'ai cru la voir l'espace d'un instant

I remember my sister taking each of her kids to see their oldest brother at the cemetery. Those pictures always made other people so uncomfortable but I just see beauty and love.
I love Carleigh's fall flowers. They are gorgeous!

Such heart-wrenching words...full of truth. I know that even as you rejoice, you will always miss the sweet girl who never came home.

Beautiful pictures...I love Lainey's bonnet. If my girls were here, I would have definitely been getting my (or their, rather) bonnet on!

So sad, but happy at the same time. So many have asked me if I will tell of the lose of Wyatt, should we be able to have other children. I want to respond with "of course, don't you allow your children to know each other?" But I hold back and just say "yes". I am so glad to see that you took your little girl to "meet" her sister. Much love!
