A few days ago I pulled some scrapbooks out of the closet to scan some pictures and in putting one of the scrapbooks away I found something I wasn’t expecting. It was a baby book. In fact, it was the baby book I had bought for Carleigh. I had gotten it before we knew she was a boy or a girl and intended to use it regardless.
Of course, it turned out I was never able to use it. I must have tucked it away intending to perhaps use it for another one of our children but it became forgotten and was stored for almost 4 years.
Now that it is out of hiding this baby book will actually be used. Not by me, as I already bought a baby book for Evanee but I am going to give it to my sister for her baby that is due in October. It seems only right that this book should be written in as it was intended.

God continues to love you, and grow you, and use you, because of your time with Carleigh. She will forever be a part of your lives honey and that is a good thing. We feel the same way about our grandkids that left us here and went home to be with Jesus. We will never be sorry that they touched our lives, even if it was briefly, because thy made such an impact on us...and others! ((Hugs)) Love you<3
I think that is lovely that you are giving it to your sister. I think you should write a little note on the front cover about the baby's cousin, Carleigh, that is an angel watching over her.

That is really sweet, I think your sister will love that it was bought for Carleigh. I have a baby book I bought for Jonathan, I am not sure what I will do with it, it seems sad to use it for the next baby. Well your sister will be thrilled it is a really sweet book. I hope to see you on the link up tomorrow :)
That's really sweet and it will have so much meaning for her!
