Community: What does this community mean to you?

It means the world. It is people coming together to celebrate, remember, and honor their babies regardless of age, race, sex, etc. It is an instant connection to another person without even having to speak a word.

Day 14 ~ Capture Your Grief ~ Community

Day 14 of Capture Your Grief has us sharing a photo of a community gathering or event that we have attended.

Last year (October 2011) we traveled to Minnesota to attend a memorial put on there by one of my BLM friends. It was quite a trip and we really enjoyed participating in the memorial and visiting the area. I spoke at the gathering and shared our story and even met Sherokee Isle! This is a picture of the balloon release we did.

August 10th

Exactly one year ago today I found out I was pregnant with Carleigh.

I had taken a test on the 8th that showed up negative and then took another one of the 10th that showed up faintly positive. Boy, was I excited! I wanted to come up with some cool way of telling everyone but couldn't wait long enough to even think of much so I ended up just telling everyone.

Never thought I'd be where I am now then.
